Can you put a fan where there's only a light?
Yes — but the box has to be swapped for a fan-rated one with bracing. A standard lighting box will not hold a moving load, whatever the box on the shelf says.
Why do my LEDs flicker on the dimmer?
Almost always a dimmer built for incandescent bulbs. Swapping to a matched LED dimmer fixes it and takes twenty minutes.
