Are you taking new clients?
Yes, we are. New client appointments are usually available within a week, and we will ask your previous clinic for records so you do not have to chase them.
What are your prices?
A comprehensive wellness exam is $68 and a same-day sick visit is $95. Everything beyond the exam is estimated in writing and agreed with you before it happens. We would rather tell you the number than surprise you with it.
Do you take pet insurance?
We work with every major insurer. Payment is taken at the time of the visit and we submit the claim paperwork for you the same day, which is usually the part people find fiddly.
What if my pet is anxious at the vet?
Tell us when you book and we will schedule a longer, quieter slot, often first thing. We are a Fear Free certified practice — no forced restraint, and pre-visit anxiety medication where it helps. Some patients take two or three visits before we do anything at all, and that is fine.
Do you see exotics?
Rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets, yes. For birds and reptiles we refer to a colleague in Lakewood who does it better than we would, and we will make the introduction.
What happens after hours?
Our phone message names the two emergency hospitals we trust and gives directions to both. We are sent their records the next morning and will call you to pick up the follow-up.
